New Captain, Peter Dole, takes on the leadership of our Brigade at start of July. It is somewhat of a generational change as the previous two Captains, David Mustey and Andrew Howlett, were both in their forties when elected. However Peter, like Andrew and David, is a foundation member of the brigade being a junior firefighter back in 1998. Holly Franchina joins the new leadership team as our first female Lieutenant. Three firefighters competed in the Firefighters Stair Climb in Melbourne raising funds for emergency worker mental health. In December, new state of the art MSA Breathing Apparatus sets were introduced as part of a Statewide program.
